TBP recommends 275# reflective paracord for everything from bear hangs to guying out a tarp or tent. We carry one or two lengths of 75 feet but offer a few other lengths so you can hike your own hike.
 
Typical paracord is 550# so it weighs twice as much and takes up twice as much room as 275# paracord does in your pack. There is no bag of food that weighs 275 lbs nor any wind or force exerting more than 275 lbs on your tarp!
 
All colors are reflective at night - comes in neon orange, neon yellow, neon gree, electric blue, & red.
