9’ x 10’ Tyvek sheet, purposely sized to create your own TrailBound Project hiking and backpacking lightweight waterproof tarp for improvised shelters. It is white on one side and printed on the other side with Tyvek and other logos such as The Home Depot, Lowes, or another construction material supplier.
 
This is just the Tyvek sheet with instructions to make your own hiking and backpacking tarp using 275# reflective paracord that we also carry, as well as grommets and Tyvek tape which are inexpensive but that you must acquire separately.
 
This sheet is made of Type 10 Hard Structure Tyvek made by Dupont which is durable, abrasion-resistant, puncture-resistant, lightweight, waterproof, and breathes. It is stiff, paper-like, and loud when crinkled at first, but can be softened to become like quiet soft fabric by rolling it, crumpling it, and with ordinary use. The process can be sped up by washing it in the washing machine with tennis balls using cold water and no soap or in a tumbling dryer with no heat and tennis balls. The more you work it the softer and quieter it becomes.
