Detailed Description:

You must RSVP with the number of people coming so we have enough food and drinks! For the first 2 hours, we'll be working on skills such as map & compass navigation, bandaging, splinting, knots, tarp shelters, etc. We'll have 2 or 3 planned skills to practice at each Dirt Time, but it's a time to practice any outdoor skills you'd like to work on and mentor others as well. Bring any gear you want an opinion on and anything needed for skills you want to work on. As the sun sets we'll be cranking up the campfire, playing some relaxing tunes, eating some good food, and just kicking back and sharing good times with the TrailBound Community! People can arrive when they want and stay as long as they want. Feel free to bring those in your family and your friends who share our love for the outdoors. There are no age restrictions and everyone is welcome! Origin of Dirt Time: To help make our vision a reality, the idea of “Dirt Time” was born... Without cost, once a month Trailbounders and guests come together for the day to hang out by the fire, eat great food, share experiences, celebrate accomplishments, discuss failures, and offer words of encouragement to support each other. A community of outdoor enthusiasts who gather and connect to find compatible hiking partners, work on skills together, make friends, and create memories.
